The Guild of Gentry and Allied Skills is a group of volunteer history interpretation enthusiasts who specialise in the portrayal of aspects of 17th century domestic life in an English gentry household of about 1635, a few years before the outbreak of the civil wars fought between the supporters of King Charles I and those of his opponents within the English Parliament and Scotland. The Guild's New Web Site
Site NewsThe web site of the Guild of Gentry & Allied Skills is being given a new, dynamic, look, and is being moved to a new location. Please bookmark our new site at www.gentryalliedskills.org.uk.

No new material will be added to our site at this location, but it will remain accessible for old content for a little while yet.

The team owes a debt of thanks to one of its long standing members, John Ruse, for his generous financial support, over many years, of our web at this location. John has been a stalwart of history re-enactment for 20 years now, and has been a member of the Guild since its inception.
